FacilitiesCarlo Maggiora LLC is centrally located in Midtown Cleveland, between University Circle and downtown, and is in close proximity to many Museums. The facility is housed in a historic turn of the century carriage house with over 2000 sq. feet of studio space on three floors. It is separated into multiple work stations for different materials; steell, brass, acrylic, glass, epoxy, wood, foam and paper and textiles. The metal shop includes a lathe, milling machine and tig welder, among other equipment. There is an area specifically oriented towards very fine metalwork, with a jewelry bench and jewelry making tools. The equipment allows for great versatility in building mounts both very small and detailed to very large and sculptural. The shop benefits from large sliding doors that open out to the street for easy loading of materials and large pieces. On the second floor are the office, mannequin and textile area where busts and custom manequin parts are carved and sewn using conservationally approved materials. With this kind of versatile working environment and variety of equipment and tools, Carlo Maggiora LLC is able to produce almost any kind of mount or fixture that might be needed.
